Will all my physiotherapy appointments be by video?

Whether you would like to have your initial, some or all of your appointments by video is up to you. Therapia physiotherapists also provide in-home visits and it is possible to have a combination of video and in-person home physiotherapy care.

For the initial consultation, you do not need any equipment. For follow-up visits, your therapist may ask you to use simple objects and tools in your home environment to help complete your exercises.

When you book your initial appointment, your credit card information will be entered into a secure platform. This credit card will be billed after each appointment is completed. Therapia does not store your credit card information. A third-party payment processing company called Stripe is used to safely process the transaction.

For your first video meeting, your therapist will conduct a consultation (i.e. learn about your condition) and provide information related to treatment planning, medical devices, exercises, or a combination of these.

Yes, after an initial video consultation, our physiotherapists and medical staff can work together to provide a medical device prescription that is most appropriate for you.
