The purpose of this exercise is to provide a controlled stretch to the Achilles tendon and the soleus calf muscle.
- With the belt held around the foot as shown and the knee bent, pull your foot toward you.
- You will feel a gentle stretch low in your calf or around your Achilles tendon.
- Hold for 10 seconds and repeat 5-7 times or as directed by your therapist.
